A series of railtours towards the end of the British Railways steam era in the 1960s took No. 7029 Clun Castle away from its usual GWR/Western Region stamping grounds.
No. 7029 was back in the Midlands on March 27, 1965, working Ian Allan’s ‘Lickey & Midlands Railtour’ from Paddington to Nottingham via Worcester. The return via Market Harborough, Bletchley and Princes Risborough is seen approaching Trent South Junction.
