A seasonal display
Bring a sense of occasion to a set of shelves, dresser or bookcase by displaying a beautiful arrangement of curly willow sticks, conifer cuttings and berry-laden branches.
YOU WILL NEED
• Foraged botanical material: a mix of conifer, twiggy branches, berries
• Colourful ribbons, roughly 50cm
• A heavy vase, glass or ceramic
• Christmas baubles
METHOD
1 Gather your botanical material either from the garden or woods. Arrange these in a vase. Aim for a fan-shape and fill any gaps with extra conifer cuttings.
2 Attach your baubles to the branches. Then tie ribbons in bows – you will need surprisingly few baubles and bows to make an impact.
