AMBASSADOR Ambassador Cruise Line’s second ship, the 1,200-passenger Ambition, which was until recently sailing as AIDAmira, will be delayed entering passenger service, as she has been chartered to the Scottish Government for six months from September as an accommodation vessel for Ukrainian refugees. She will be berthed on the Clyde in Glasgow.
CELEBRITY The coin ceremony for Celebrity Ascent took place at the St Nazaire shipyard on 24 August, signalling the start of the actual construction process. The ship is due to sail from Port Everglades on 3 December 2023.
