Most people are surprised when they hear how old I am. I’ve discussed the fact that I go to the gym with older people, who have said: “It’s OK for you, but I’m 69” or maybe 70 or 71. You should see how wide their eyes open when I say I’m 72. Most people think I’m early sixties or even in my late fifties.
I’m not one for a lot of make-up. In fact, most of the time I don’t wear any at all. I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about my clothes. I have five identical pairs of skinny trousers in different colours. Much easier and less stressful than shopping for five different pairs of trousers. I sometimes go to the gym without combing my hair, but never without brushing my teeth. I am definitely an example of healthy ageing. I’d like to share with you the three main pillars of my approach to ageing.
