For the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, 2015 was undoubtedly an incredible year. after welcoming their daughter, Princess Charlotte, into the world in may, they enjoyed a quiet summer, spending quality time with their children at home in anmer Hall, while William was also busy working in his new role with the East Anglian air ambulance. But next year looks set to be even bigger as Kate and William are heading to India for an official tour in the spring and insiders say Kate is adamant that now is her time to shine. ‘She’s determined to be a modern, working royal, representative of the normal members of the public,’ reveals our Palace
source. ‘Kate wasn’t born into royal life and has very much inherited her parents’ work ethic, which is partly rooted in the pent-up frustration of all those ‘Waity Katie’ years when she was lambasted as a layabout.’
