Welcome to our biannual competition special. As always, we’ve found plenty to keep you busy, with 827 competitions to enter, and motivated, with nearly £1.2m in total prize money. I’d like to repeat my appeal from last time: this list has been produced in diffi cult times for all of us, and publishers and competition organisers are no different. Many have had to cancel, postpone or otherwise rearrange this year’s competitions. Many are facing uncertainty about the year ahead. We have verified details as far as possible, but there are some yet to be fully confi rmed so as always, it’s best to check full details for yourself before entering. Covid-19 has hit hard across the publishing industry and, as with publishers and other arts organisations, comps need our support.
