AfonLlwyd Writers
Every other Saturday morning since September 2018, our small group met upstairs in what is locally known as The Russian Tea Shop, writes Annmarie Miles.
The venue’s official name is the Market Square Coffee House. The room upstairs was our little domain for a couple of hours once a fortnight, where we drank coffee, ate yummy treats, talked about our writing, maybe drank another coffee, and then we spent about 45 minutes on our own work. A new idea, a WIP, some editing, or a flash prompt that someone had brought. Our Christmas gathering involved a hilarious game of literary consequences.
