Whilst boxy, oversized clothing is a design choice, sometimes we’d just like those garments to fit a little more closely to the body.
The first thing to consider however, is that you cannot alter a very over-sized garment right down to a super-fitted garment without completely unpicking and re-cutting. That said, you can refine the fit and make it a lot less boxy with the addition of either darts or tucks, new seamlines or with elastic channels.
