Golden LOOP
This stash-busting bracelet bag is not only a great way to use up scrap fabric but is super stylish and unique
Project CORINNE BRADD
Top tip!
Adding felt washers to the heavier half of the magnetic clasp will prevent the fabric of your bag becoming worn over time
MATERIALS & TOOLS:
• cotton needlecord or velvet fabric scraps
• plain cotton lining fabric
• 11cm-diameter O-ring metal bangle handle
• magnetic bag clasp
• felt scrap
• template downloaded from www.craftworld.com/cms/love-sewing
NOTES:
6mm seam allowance is included on all pieces.
The out bag uses a patch-asyou-go method, but a solid piece of material can be used.
HOW TO MAKE:
1 Cut two bag linings and one lining pocket from folded plain cotton fabric. Keeping the pocket piece folded, sew around the edges, leaving a small gap in the straight lower edge. Clip curves and turn out through the gap. Press well. Position the pocket in the centre of one lining piece and top-stitch in place around three sides.
