But that’s not so with Night Sky installed on your iPhone or iPad. This brilliant app uses augmented reality (AR) to bring the sky to life. Just point your device’s camera into the night air and the app overlays a map of the stars, letting you pick out all manner of objects – natural and man-made – floating in the heavens above.
