Apple Intelligence in third-party apps
Apple says the Day One journalling app is using Apple Intelligence already.
Apple sometimes opens its new software capabilities up to third-party developers. At the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, Apple revealed that it would be doing just that with its offline artificial intelligence (AI) model, which could spread Apple Intelligence’s on-device processing to more apps. Operating offline means that developers won’t incur cloud-processing costs and users know their private data is not sent to another company’s servers.
