Maps on your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch can help you get from A to Z more easily, but there’s a whole lot more to it than that. Fire up the app on your Mac and, yes, you can work out how to drive, walk, cycle or take public transport from one place to another. But it’s also super-helpful when planning a trip or exploring a destination’s surroundings.
As you will see, Maps makes it easy to find interesting places, whether you’re searching manually or using one of many built-in guides written by professionals. The app also lets you see what a location looks like, either from a birds-eye view or on the ground, and you can organise places of interest into custom guides.
