If your Wi–Fi can’t cope, a mesh system could be the ideal solution

How mesh Wi–Fi systems provide faster and more reliable Wi–Fi for your whole home
MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE
STILL
WORKING FROM HOME AND HITTING
THE WI–FI ALL DAY
KEY FACT
New Wi–Fi 6 routers and mesh systems can provide Wi–Fi speeds of just over 10Gbps — almost twice that of older Wi–Fi 5 routers. Just as important, though, is OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access), which means Wi–Fi 6 routers are more efficient when transmitting data to lots of different devices all at the same time.
MOST INTERNET SERVICE Providers (ISPs) give you a Wi–Fi router when you first sign up for your broadband account. In the past, these routers have provided perfectly adequate Wi–Fi performance for many small and medium–size homes. But, of course, the last couple of years have seen a worldwide change in the way we use our Wi–Fi at home. The “new normal” means that millions of people are still working from home and hitting the Wi–Fi all day long with email and Zoom calls, while the use of streaming music, video, and gaming services has sky–rocketed as well.
