Making Cards & Papercraft  |  December 2013
We simply couldn’t decide which free craft papers to provide in this edition, we were spoilt for choice! So, we’ve included three different sets! Festive foliage, Three kings and Christmas characters each bring you
something different, traditional Christmas icons, a religious element and cute characters! My favourite are the Three Kings papers, I love the colourways, they offer a very modern approach to cards created using elements reflecting the true meaning of Christmas.
Included in this edition for you are numerous card making techniques. Wendy Martin’s teabag folding card is great for those who like to the more traditional form of papercraft. Kitty’s decoupage project is perfect for those who like cute images and uses die-cut pieces for ease. Elsewhere, if stamping is your thing, Tracy Evans has used Tim Holtz stamps to create a snowy scene perfect for your Christmas cards. As always, Emma Williams has produced what can only be described as a simple fantastic project as our Designs with a different card this
month. Turn to page 92 to find out how to create a design which is both an easel card and gift box in one!
It was lovely to read Joanna Sheen’s Inspirations this month. I was fascinated to read how she started out in the craft business and how she got where she is today. I’m sure you’ll be as inspired as I was.
Happy crafting!
