Tide  |  Issue 16
For this issue we begin in the Caribbean, just as the Royal Ocean Racing Club [RORC]’s Caribbean 600 kicks off from the docks of Antigua, to be followed by the St Barths Bucket. In celebration, we showcase Canova on our cover – one of the Baltic Yachts attending the latter. Indeed, we also spotlight the pioneering, 2019-built Liara in this edition, crafted by the Finnish shipyard, longtime masters of custom Superyacht construction. Later we look towards the Pacific as an ideal next route from Caribbean waters – specifically, to an Australian private resort and French Polynesia’s Society Islands – before highlighting a few must-visit European locations as we plan out the Mediterranean summer. Along the way, we encounter fascinating ocean-loving talents, from a creative culinary practice in Spain to two teams discovering new ways to lower the impact sailing has on our seas – plus much, much more.
