Making Cards & Papercraft  |  July 2015
Stamping, colouring, decoupage, pop-ups, working with acetate, creating backgrounds with bubble wrap, the very latest releases, new trends... we really have got it all going on inside this issue! Whether it’s cards for him, her, children... we’ve got it covered!
I love this month’s craft papers. For The Girls - Part Two is a continuation of the beautiful watercolour images we shared last month, this time with a beach theme. The second set, Busy Butterflies, is included especially for those of you who love these pretty creatures - I know there are quite a few of you! Layering up those colourful craft papers makes such pretty 3D embellishments.
Following on from last month’s new ‘By Request’ feature, I am delighted to introduce another two new features this month! ‘Make It Simple’ is a project that requires only your time and minimal craft products, no expensive apparatus such as die-cutting machines and dies are used in the making but the results are just as effective. Turn to page 66 for this month’s fi rst project - Birds, Blooms and Butterflies.
Our second new feature is ‘Get Crafty With Your Craft Stash’ (page 18). This project will see a craft item featured in a previous edition used again. The idea is to get the most from the items you buy and help keep those crafty costs down! (or allow you to buy more) I’m pleased to welcome new contributors Sharon Callis and Denise Holmes! And Sarah Jackman-Read who
fi rst featured last month! We’re sure you are going to love the work that they produce, we can’t wait to share it with you. Talking of our talented contributes - we’re working on something a little bit ‘special’ with
many of them - one in particular - watch this space!
