Where the iPhone meets webcam
SINCE OWNING my first laptop at the age of 11 (an Acer netbook), I have never needed to purchase a webcam. Luckily for me, the Acer netbook and every computer I’ve owned since have all had webcams built in, and they were more than sufficient when using those devices, as I have never been one to use a webcam frequently. Sure, Skype was great for speaking to my friends and family, but I didn’t really care for the toaster quality they were seeing. And now, at work when I am in Google meetings or on Zoom calls to loved ones or the Maximum PC team, quality is important. You want to see people in the best quality, not a grainy, pixelated image. Sure, if your Internet is bad, there is no fix other than to upgrade that, but an upgraded webcam would give everyone a clearer image of my ugly mug.
