This article centres on the pivotal role of creativity in mental healthcare, showcasing the Hospital Rooms Digital Art School initiative, emphasising its transformative effect on mental health service users and the imperative for enhanced mental health provision. As the Digital Art School transitions into a three-year programme supported by Arts Council England, it emerges as a vital tool for democratising access to art and empowering mental health workers to integrate creative practices into their care strategies.
