This book identifies many of the challenges faced by families and professionals with supporting children in complex situations.
It is aimed at many healthcare professional groups including health visiting, but it does not have much of a health visitor contribution, which is a weakness.
The first chapter is heavily theory-based, but case vignettes throughout the book do make clinical practice applications more visible. Part one of the text forwards the theory base, part two examines the children’s and adult mental health project with collaborative approaches, while part three explores the wider context from other professions and sectors.
