PETER’S SCENERY CLINIC
At the 2023 Warley NEC Show, Model Rail’s Peter Marriott spent two days on Bachmann Europe’s stand, answering a multitude of questions from modellers keen on building their own scenery. As usual, two of the main topics arising concerned water features and the use of static grass.
Anticipating some of the likely questions, and based on several years’ experience, Peter created a few small dioramas in advance, to help demonstrate various ‘hands on’ techniques.
Peter enjoys these face-to-face clinics, as it’s great to be able to show modellers how things are done in real time, answering questions as he goes. Peter reports that visitors found making scenic features easier and more fun than they expected!
