This is the first of a new column I have been invited to write in which I want to share my enthusiasm for railway modelling, and the real railway, and offer some insights into the thrills – and occasional spills – of being a model train manufacturer.
As 2022 begins it will soon be two years since the pandemic swept the world, and many of us found ourselves spending considerably more time at home than we’re used to.
