PRECISION PLIERS
Perfect for handling and shaping fine parts and materials, these pliers feature tiny jaws that, when fully closed, retain a 0.1mm gap between them. This allows fine etched metal parts or other delicate material to be held securely without cutting through it. The jaws are shaped to present a fine working edge, allowing sharp folds to be made in strip or sheet metal, much more effectively than with regular pliers. Already, I’ve found them to be ideal for shaping smaller etched kit and locomotive detail parts such as lamp irons. A welcome addition is the leather storage pouch, which helps protect those delicate jaws from damage while stored in a toolbox.
