How long have you been reading MOJO?
My first issue of MOJO had The White Stripes on the cover [MOJO 106]. I was late discovering them since I moved to the US. I’ve since subscribed for over 20 years. I’ve learned so much entertaining trivia from Ask Fred and Ask MOJO.
What music are you currently grooving to?
The Hives’
The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons. It’s wall-to-wall bangers. I also love a new band from Detroit called Sugar Tradition.
What, if push comes to shove, is your all-time favourite album?
Exile On Main St. by The Rolling Stones. My second is The White Stripes’ Elephant.
What was the first record you ever bought? And where did you buy it?
Apache by The Shadows, from Bakers Record Shop in Sittingbourne High Street, and it cost 6/8d, which was my birthday money.
