REMEMBER WHEN?
YOUR MOTORCYCLE MEMORIES
This is me beside a Honda CB750F SuperSport belonging to my dad, Darrell Tucker, in 1988. Seven years earlier, my dad traded in his Kawasaki KH400 three-cylinder two-stroke bike for this one at Zdeno Cycle in Guelph, Ont. My dad bought the Honda months before he met my mom; on the night they first met, he took her for a ride on it. They were married just over a year later. My dad sold the bike in 1989, a few years after I was born — at that time, my parents had me, a house and a car, and they couldn’t afford to insure the bike, as well. This Honda SuperSport contributed a lot to my parents’ relationship, from when my dad first got it to when he was ready to let it go. (And, as an important final note: my parents are married to this day.) —Submitted by Rebecca Tucker
