The April issue of Australian Railway Histpry opens with Phil Cross’ photo essay featuring his own images of the remarkable changes that occurred on the narrow gauge Western Australian Government Railways associated the opening of the standard and dual Gauge Avon Valley Line in February 1965. Tony Firth rounds off his account of Thomas Firth’s career with the New South Wales Government Railways which covers his senior engineering positions in Sydney from the late 1880s to his untimely death on 20 July 1903. He travelled extensively around the system and represented New South Wales at national conferences of railway officials.
Bob Scrymgeour's account of the Koorawatha to Grenfell branch line in central western New South Wales covers its history from the 1860s until closure in October 1991 and is illustrated with excellent photos from the ARHSnsw Railway Resource Centre collection..

Highly recommended Ozzie Railway History Mag

Anyone interested in Australian Railway history, this is a well produced, and high quality mag. My great grandfather helped built many of these railways in late 19C. Beoordeeld op 22 november 2018
