The provost was joined by children from Glendale Gaelic Primary and Glasgow Gaelic Primary schools.
Glasgow’s Lord Provost accepted the Mòd Flag, signalling the return of the Royal National Mòd to the city, at a special handover outside the City Chambers on November 27.
Lord Provost Eva Bolander was presented with the flag by children from the city’s Gaelic schools. The pupils and the flag were then transported to the City Chambers in a taxi featuring the branding of Mòd Ghlaschu 2019, sponsored by Glasgow Taxis. The Lord Provost said: ‘I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to welcome the Royal National Mòd back to Glasgow after 29 years.
