TRUNK roads operator BEAR Scotland says it has repaired the growing number of potholes that had rendered sections of the A82 like the crater-strewn ‘surface of the moon’ according to one local driver.
A spokesperson for BEAR Scotland told the Lochaber Times this week: ‘Cold and wet winter weather and particularly the freeze and thaw cycle can have a serious impact on road surfaces leading to the rapid development of potholes.
