RUSSIA exhibited the warplanes, helicopters and missiles it uses against Ukraine at this month’s Dubai Airshow – even though the massive biennial arms and aerospace market is organised by a British company.
Identifying the airshow, organised by British conferences and publishing giant Informa, as “one of the key global venues” for defence sales, Russian state-owned defence giant Rostec took the opportunity to display its SU-57 fighter jets and Ka-52 attack helicopters as well as drones and missiles in use in Ukraine.
