Emma Lawton is a blogger, writer, comedian, speaker and co-founder of start-up More Human, which focuses on communities. Emma was
diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease seven years ago at the age of 29 and made it her mission to remain positive.
During lockdown, she rediscovered her childhood love of watercolours and found it amusing that, at certain times of the day, her shakes changed her work. The collaboration of Emma (draws detail in marker fluid and wax) and ‘Tremor’ (paints the colour) was born! She says: ‘When life gives you Parkinson’s, wear sequins and be a glitter ball, find a stick and drum a beat or grab a brush and make a gorgeous mess.’ Inspiring.
