FRIGHT-RAGS TURNS 20
2023 marks the twentieth year for Fright-Rags. What started out as a simple t-shirt company that specialized in cult horror movies has branched out and now produces all manner of monster-movie apparel, as well as drinkware, action figures, enamel pins, collectibles, and of course, non-sport cards.
Think of it as “the little slasher movie that could.” My Bloody Valentine was a humble, low-budget horror movie produced in Canada in 1980, and released by Paramount in time for Valentine’s Day, 1981.
Ben Scrivens turned a life-long love of horror movies into a hugely successful business, and starting with Re-Animator in 2017, Fright-Rags has brought several 1980s horror classics to the world of trading cards. Halloween, Creepshow and Childʼs Play (starring Chucky) are just a few of the super-scary flicks produced as trading cards by Fright-Rags.
