Students in the Oban area were unaffected by the Educational Institute of Scotland Education Lecturers Association (EISFELA) strike last Wednesday.
Colleges in other parts of Scotland suffered some disruption due to the 24- hour strike by lecturers over pay, but neither the Argyll College, University of the Highlands and Islands, or the Scottish Marine Institute at Dunbeg were troubled.
A spokesperson from Argyll College said: ‘None of our Oban-based stafftook part in Wednesday’s strike action, and across our 10 learning centres less than one per cent of staffparticipated. As a result our students have been largely unaffected.
