A recent survey has placed Argyll and Bute Council third from bottom out of every local authority area in Scotland for broadband speeds.
The survey, carried out by the consumer magazine Which?, measured the broadband speeds of all of Scotland’s 32 local authorities in the year to September 2018, carrying out 277,575 speed tests.
It found that the average broadband speed in Argyll and Bute was a mere 7Mbps, withonly Shetland and Orkney doing worse withregistered speeds of 6.7Mbps and 3Mbps respectively.
