BURNS suppers have taken place across Lochaber to celebrate Scottish poet Robert Burns.
Lundavra Primary School teacher Alison Stephen said: ‘P7 hosted a Burns Supper and invited parents and friends. The children sang, recited poetry and provided the audience with haggis, neeps, shortbread and tablet. Jim Sutherland, Lochaber High School’s head teacher, was the guest speaker and surprised everyone when he recited Holy Willie’s Prayer in his nightcap and goonie.’
Moss Park care home manager Libby McKee said: ‘The residents thoroughly enjoyed their Burns Supper. Thanks to everyone who attended.’
