This is a pre-cursor to a fuller album coming soon. As an awareness-raiser for the eventual recording of the proper album, it has had the desired effect!
On its release, it became something of a West Highland social media sensation – started comically by Ross Martin from Morar (guitarist with Dàimh) and resulting in the album appearing everywhere from people’s showers, toilets, and even an appearance on top of a Christmas tree!
I realise, of course, that Christmas is over and I am perhaps too late to be telling you about this record; but with classics such as Taobh Loch Èitibh, A’ Pheigi a’ Ghràidh, and Mo Ghleannan Taobh Loch Lìobhann, it is the perfect purchase to get you through the long January evenings and I dare say it will feature at many after-parties and cèilidhs in Glasgow when most of the rest of the town has gone to bed!
