A LEARNER driver has been banned from driving for six months after nearly hitting pedestrians on George Street.

Omolara Obata, of 17 Bridgman Grove, Bristol, was on holiday in Oban when the incident occurred on August 15 2017. She plead guilty to careless driving after she lost control of her car, while attempting a left hand turn onto Craigard Road, Oban, causing pedestrians to take evasive action to avoid being hit.
