CalMac refutes claims of bullying

A FURTHER five CalMac staff have approached The Oban Times after last week’s story about bullying aboard the fleet of ferries.

The lack of staff members reporting bullying to management has struck a chord with members of the crew, with one staff member saying ‘everyone has one story or another’.

Speaking about events of more than 10 years ago, one man said he had been subject to problems on board a ship in the past. While not wanting to be named, he urged people to go to their trades unions for support.
