Big up the British?
I enjoyed your Technology Excellence Awards article (see issue 363, p28) and noted the award of “Best of British” to PCSpecialist for its laptop service. Would you consider adding the nation of origin to the specs of hardware and software reviewed in the magazine? Many readers, I am sure, would be eager to support British businesses if given the choice.

Editor-in-chief Tim Danton replies: Thanks for the suggestion but my inclination is not to do this. That’s partly because I have to keep the specs box a certain size, and people often ask me to add things to them, but also because we try to mention in the review if a company is British (sometimes even mentioning where they’re based in the country). But I’m open to argument if people feel strongly otherwise.
Satisfaction vs reception
In the Mobile Data Provider section of your recent Excellence Awards I noticed that 4G and 5G satisfaction were higher for 1pMobile and Smarty than for their parent networks.
