I suspect I’m not the only reader who has salvaged old VHS family movies by digitising them before the physical medium ultimately self-destructed many years ago. Nevertheless, many of these treasured memories are of barely acceptable quality and would benefit hugely from recent AI enhancement tools to improve their graphics, colour and other pixellated defects. The same applies to old photos, where there’s an even larger market for picture sharpening and enhancement tools.
