In your Photo Project 2 in issue 216 (page 50), I trust that the illustrations were shown on the different pages to give your readers an ‘idea’ on how the different implements should be used, but not how they would actually use them? When I worked in a private photography store, and later in Jessops, I hope that I imparted a method you seem to have “missed”: the lens and camera should be facing downwards. Any muck on the front element or resting on the sensor will then fall down, rather than being dragged over the delicate surface.
