Heinz introduces Beanz Houmouz
Famous for its baked beans, Heinz (heinz.co.uk) has taken its expertise and created Bean Houmouz, three new dip options inspired by classic chickpea hummus but made from haricot beans.
The three options in the range are Original, Roasted Butternut Squash and Chipotle Chilli, blending haricot beans with different flavours. The Beanz Houmouz comes after the launch of Heinz Beanz Burgerz, and is one of several new products expected this year.
Lucila Ardalla, New Ventures Director for Beanz Liberation at Kraft Heinz, said: “We’re un-bean-lievably excited to be continuing our plant powered story by launching our very first Beanz Houmouz range, made using our iconic beans. The result? A deliciously creamy and smooth texture unlike most traditional chickpea based hummus you’ve tasted before!”
The Original and Roasted Butternut Squash options are available to buy now on Ocado, with the Chipotle Chilli option expected during the summer.
