Practical Fishkeeping  |  Practical Fishkeeping November 2022
first and foremost, an apology. Last month I promised you a Pomacanthus visual guide, but my illustrator has been waylaid so it has been pushed back for now. Not that you’d notice, given how much else is packed into this issue!
If you’re a biotope fan like I am, then Michel Keijman’s piece on cichlids living in sinkholes (page 8) will really float your boat. If you’re more into fish behaviour, then I’m certain you’ll learn something new from Neale Monks’ fascinating exploration of Synodontis (page 24). And if you’re into oddballs, then you’ll be delighted to meet new contributor Alex Bell’s Brachyhypopomus knifefish on page 52.
And who could overlook the return of the Readers’ Poll for 2022? In this issue you can find out who you, the voting readership chose as your top stores around the UK. Our huge thanks go to all of you who took part!
