1 USE THE OBJECT SELECTION TOOL

Sometimes you can help your subject to ‘pop’ by selectively sharpening it. A quick way to isolate it is with the Object Selection Tool. Simply grab the tool from the toolbar, drag a box over the area you want to sharpen, then use either Unsharp Mask or Smart Sharpen to crisp up the area.
