01 COPY THE BACKGROUND LAYER
►► Open the image of our model, then go to the Layers Panel (if it’s not on screen, press F7 or go to Window > Layers). Next press Cmd/Ctrl+J to make a copy of your layer (memorize this shortcut – it’s a useful one). This makes two layers in your layer stack.
