Learn how to stroke a path for flowing glow effects

Open any image you have that has a fairly dark backdrop. Grab the Pen Tool, then click and drag to make a few curved flowing lines as shown, with the aim of wrapping the lines around the subject. After drawing any line, you can hold the Cmd/Ctrl key and drag anchor points to tweak the position of the path.
