FLASH-PAINT YOUR LANDSCAPES
James Paterson shows how you can make a single flash do the work of a dozen, by painting your daylight scenes with light over several frames
We often hear portrait shooters talk about underexposing the ambient light, then using a flash to pick out the subject. It can result in atmospheric portraits with bold skies. So why not use the same method to create a bold landscape? This way, we can underexpose the scene for a dramatic evening sky, then pick out parts of our scene with the flash.
