RAY THOMAS
Words And Music ESOTERIC
Moodies legend is effectively eulogised.
When Ray Thomas died in 2018, The Moody Blues mourned a founder member and the wider musical world lost the man who played the flute solo on Nights In White Satin. His contribution to the Moodies in their pomp was always about more than music: he brought the “om” and cosmic trippery to their more transcendental flights of fantasy, not to mention that moustache.
