Tristan Auman is 25 years old and already has the world of prog at his feet. Not only is he the touring guitarist for prog metal favourites Between The Buried And Me, but his own project –US instrumental trio Sometime In February –recently signed to InsideOutMusic. This means, at an age where he can barely rent a fancy car in some parts of his home country, he’s on a roster alongside Yes, Jethro Tull, Dream Theater and dozens of other genre greats.
No, he can’t believe it either.
“It was very, very surprising,” Auman says when Prog asks how he got the attention of one of our genre’s most famous labels.
