TAKE PRIDE
Recuperating in bed from a nasty virus, I read Rin Hamburgh’s ‘Reverse bucket list’ feature (April) and I’m feeling better already. Yes, I’d like to learn the drums, have a cottage in the Highlands and employ a gardener – all of which require courage and/or cash. But, I’ve weathered divorce and found love again, coped with the suicide of my son, learned to ride a motorbike and a horse, and flown in a helicopter over New York! The feature made me realise that achievement isn’t just about salaries and qualifications. Fiona
