Welcome to our autumn 2015 issue.

Well what a busy summer it’s been for all of us involved in overseas property. With the euro still weak we have returned big time to the markets of Spain, France, Portugal and Cyprus - and even some of us to Greece after the drama of the non-Grexit (see our report on page 88 about what’s really happening on the islands, it’s not what some of the newspapers would have us believe).

But now of course we are thinking about winter sun and that is the big theme of this issue as we compare our favourites: Florida, the Canaries and the Caribbean. I was surprised to find so much investment happening in Antigua (page 46) although it’s the Floridian (page 30) and Barbadian (page 40) markets that are really heating up.

And don’t forget to check out our new sections of extra property listings starting on page 101.
