Airbus A350, an updated and expanded second edition by the team behind Airliner World, is a guide to the popular widebody airliner, which includes operator accounts and examines how the A350 family stacks up against its rivals.

Airbus launched the original A350 aircraft in 2004, but the design did not impress some of its high-profile customers, who were highly critical. Airbus had to act and undertook a complete redesign that resulted in the A350 Xtra Wide Body Jet now so familiar to passengers around the world.

Twenty years on from that tricky launch, the future for the A350 is undeniably bright. Next on the horizon is a wave of cabin retrofits that Airbus says will gain momentum in the years ahead. Meanwhile, the great news for fans of the A350 is that Airbus announced an increase in production rate for the type at the end of 2023; following a raft of recent orders, the manufacturer said that monthly output of the widebody will jump to ten per month in 2026.

Airbus’ world-class team of aerodynamicists and engineers have created a very elegant aircraft. Long live the A350.

As an American I don't see alot of British a/c in our magazines other than the usual Hurricanes, Spits, and so forth. And I have learned more about the RAF flying more American a/c such as the NA F-86 and the B-29 that you don't read about in American publications. Revisto 13 agosto 2020
